THE CIVIC ARTS REVIEW is published by the Arneson Institute for Practical Politics and Public Affairs at Ohio Wesleyan University in association with the Charles F. Kettering Foundation. The civic arts for us, encompasses the sum total of those ideas and practices that constitute good citizenship. We are dedicated to the proposition that education, liberally conceived, is the basis of a free society.
